Mui Ne

We caught a 'T & M brothers' bus from HCMC to Mui Ne - a little seaside resort six hours north-east. I can thoroughly recommend taking a trip with any other company. The trip was just so slow, which definitely doesn't make it any safer with all the overtaking traffic, and the immovable plastic seats are spaced apart just far enough for the seat installer to install the seat back at the bus-making factory.

Mui-Ne was nice because we hadn't seen a beach for awhile but was suffering some major erosion. Beach front views always come with a price and the amount of environmental devastation and rubbish across SE Asia is really depressing at times.

We managed to bike out and see the locals at work. We also managed to see the local landmark - massive numbers of little kids attempting to rent sheets of plastic for you to slide down the other landmark: the sand dunes. They succeeded with us and they were happy.
