Koh Pha Ngan

It didn't take too long for us to get over the smog, heat, and hassles of Bangkok again before we jumped on an overnight bus down to Surat Thani, and a boat across to Koh Pha Ngan. The sand's so white you definitely do need sunnies on a midday walk, and the water's as blue, and turquiose, and aqua as the brochures say.

Apparently the half moon party is on tomorrow - a warmup to the three-quarter moon just before the full moon I guess. We're up for some partying and hanging around bars and floating on floating devices for the next few days before heading north to the quieter Bottle Beach perhaps - who knows?

Of course net access is eight times pricier than Bangkok so might save our holiday snaps night till another day.
