Cameron Highlands, Malaysia

After catching the local bus to the Cameron Highlands we met back up with Dan, Niki, and Niki's mum Mitra - out visiting for two weeks.

The Cameron Highlands is another colonial throwback to the days when Englishmen searched for highland retreats and places to grow tea

We spent a few nights enjoying some climate change - temperatures in the 20's instead of the 30's.

Days spent trekking through lush, misty, jungle with massive springboard beds of moss that spread acroos the land. Where the jungle wasn't so lucky we visited sprawling tea estates where after the factory tour the expected free cup of tea was not! Cheap backpackers we must be.
